Root causes are methods of categorizing students' reasons for absence. Root causes can be removed from a student on the student's profile.
- Navigate to the student's profile.
- In the Information section, scroll down to the Root Cause Domain(s) field. If a student has already been assigned root causes, you will see them listed here.
- To remove a root cause from the student, click Edit to the right of the Root Cause Domain(s) field.
Please note: If you see a root cause with a gray, disabled checkbox, that means that the root cause was identified by AllHere through a Root Cause Analysis survey and cannot be edited.
- Uncheck the appropriate root cause(s) in the drop-down menu, and click the Save button to save your changes.
